Job Description
• Ensuring smooth operation for overall Plant Production Machine Maintenance, Facilities/ Utilities and Engineering & provides support in machine breakdowns, upgrading or modification and as per others designated
• Ensure full compliance to safety procedure, food safety management, hygiene procedures, and 5S execution
• Participate actively in problem solving and process improvement initiatives; identify, evaluate, analyze and implement actions required
• To ensure the production machines and equipment operate in smooth without major stoppage
• Execute maintenance plan to achieve Mechanical Efficiency targets in terms of machine downtime, quality, hygiene, and cost and consumer complaints. SOPs are to be the main references in executing the tasks
• Fully responsible on the machine, attending breakdown, upgrading or modification
• To be proactive, able to troubleshoot problems to prevent lose time or downtime
• To learn and be competent to troubleshoot PLC systems
• Plan and execute routine preventive maintenance on all production machinery with technicians
• Responsible to alert the Maintenance Manager of any unusual occurrence and /or damage that have taken place or may occur
• Coach and train electrical maintenance technicians
• Involve actively in shift review meetings & department meetings
• Execute the implementation of the plant certification & conformance to Integrated Management System (IMS) that consist of HACCP, ISO9001, ISO14001, PAS220 and ISO22000
• Review spare part electrical to find any material developing lifetime of each equipment plant in term of cost saving and optimize usage
• Update all the documents in timely manner as per Good Documentation Practice (GDP)
• Strict enforcement of all rules and regulations in the company, subject to the Organization of work, hold jobs
• Execute any other engineering & maintenance related activities as when required by superiors
Job Requirement
• Bachelor’s Degree in mechanical and electrical engineering from a recognized university or polytechnic or equivalent qualification
• Min. 3 year working experience on shop floor within production or utilities
• Min. 5 years’ experience in handling mechanical engineering team at supervisory within manufacturing industry
• Microsoft office (Word, Excel, Power point), Drawing software, PLC and control system
• Skill in implementation of Preventive Maintenance Program
• Diagnostic/Trouble shooting skill, English (Speaking, listening and writing)
• Good leadership & problem-solving skill (for management level)
