• Analyzing technical drawing and providing material and cost estimates.
• Monitor cost control of internal/external project costs with secondary progress reporting function
• Regular interaction with Project Managers and Contractors to develop schedules and achieve critical milestones
• Analyze Contractor Schedules and flag impact on Critical Path
• Produce weekly and monthly progress reports against the baseline schedule
• Control of contract and procurement costs
• Responsible for Monthly cost/planning status reports to Management
• Interface with Project Manager to provide all status reporting and presentations. Cost variation/amendment control, invoice approval management
• Interface with Finance group on reporting methods, invoice approval and cash call status;
• Progress monitoring/reporting against overall schedule on a monthly basis required. This will be to incorporate and report at Management level
• Define Cost Estimate Scope: Define the project scope, time period, phases to be estimated, communication channels, and establish any boundaries for estimates or project requirements. Estimates are typically completed in 24‐48 hours.
• Define Assumptions or Constraints: Identify any schedule or budget constraints, and how those will be resolved.
• Develop Cost Element Structure: Identify everything defined in the scope to be costed.
• Collect and Monitor Data: Collect and monitor data, manage risks, identify (if necessary) contingency plan, control changes and communication. Measure and report on progress.
• Develop Cost Estimating Relationships: Use cost data to develop formulas/equations entered into the cost model. Formulas/Equations will be the basis for estimating costs as a function of Ulven systems and service level.
• Document Approach: Provide documentation for each cost element, indicating sources of data, assumptions used and any other methodology or analysis.
• Finalize Cost Estimate: Finalize the cost estimate. Maintain all files, data related to this project.
Job Requirement
• At least 3-5 years of Construction Industry
• BA in Engineering, General Management, Master’s degree is preferred
• Experience in costing and Planning
• Experiences mad Knowledge in Project Management
• Advance in MS Project and or Excel.
• Logic thinking and analytical skills.
• Competitive Low-cost attitude and approach.
• PMP Certification Preferred but not required
• Strong presentation, written communication, and report-writing skills in English
• Strong commercial awareness and business acumen
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to think creatively and use data to inform decisions
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage timely changes.
