MEP engineer is a professional designation responsible for planning and design in the field of Mechanical, Electrical, and plumbing (MEP) practice, including developing policies standards, inspection procedure and evaluation tools for MEP concerns along with preparing, reviewing drawing, specification, and cost estimates for the mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing. He/she shall be actively completing the MEP works required in project phases: Concept Design, Schematic Design, Design Development, Tender/Construction Documents, Bidding and Negotiation, and Construction Administration.
MEP engineer is the professional responsible for Mechanical, Electrical, and plumbing (MEP) design in building. The duties required are as below:
- Undertake MEP concept and schematic design for assigned projects, with the
ability to undertake design details including preliminary design calculations,
preliminary specifications, and other required design information
- Undertake HVAC concept, schematic, design development, tender and construction
for assigned projects
- Liaise with architect, engineers, and other disciplines to ensure coherent and
correct, as well as aesthetically pleasing design.
- Liaise with Architectural, ID, and structural disciplines to ensure the
drawing has been coordinated properly to minimize any discrepancies
- Make amendments to the design as required
- Produce design brief, document , report, specification, BOQ and cost plan for
HVAC system

• Configure video surveillance system hardware and software
• Configure fire and intrusion alarm system hardware and software
• Configure access control and time and attendance hardware and software
• Configure computer system and network hardware and software
• Design and specify solutions for quotations
• Provide customer support
• Provide sales support

- Responsible to lead the equipment reliability inclusive maintenance activities at dedicated area as per Maintenance COM
- Responsible for maintenance KPI example OEE, B&D, WO creation & completion, % PM, and total maintenance cost/HL within agreed target
- Responsible for work order (WO) scoping, prioritization, quality of work order detail, distribute of work orders, and the effective follow up and closing out of work orders
- To assign work and manpower scheduling with line responsible through work order system
- To review technician skills matrix and roles from time to time
- Responsible for COM audit with maintenance manager
- To lead line responsible and communication with production line leader for any production plan and OEE improvement
- Implement and review WI, SMP & OPL
- To attend daily packaging PMS meeting at related area and escalate breakdown issue during maintenance PMS board
- Weekly meeting with production line leader for maintenance service windows and TBM activities
- Provide and conduct weekly performance evaluation and plan for improvement by RCA or advanced problem solving
- To carry the overhaul planning, manpower scheduling, spare part list, and review as per COM
- Troubleshoot and attend for any breakdown even off office hour
- Well maintain all maintenance documents and records system
- To contact OEM for any downtime and spare part detail

- Draw of architect / interior drawing.
- Monitor of any site renovation work.
- Support check / inspect in part of interior work.
- Technical and engineering support Terminal and Depot; cooperate with staff for consulting and discussing about engineering terms of service and report.
- Oversee, mentor, and liaise with a variety of stakeholders.
- Contact and cooperate with stakeholder, management, operation team, supplier, contractor, government officer, etc. for completed finish the engineering job.
- Survey and contact with suppliers and contractors, make the approved vender list and material list in order to use in engineering working process.

- Learning production process in order of technology, management, monitoring, process planning of CPO, PKN, power plant, water plant, laboratory, material supply, inventory control and related process of processing in both quantitative and Qualitative of work.
- Support ground work of preventive maintenance, machine maintenance and production.
- Rotation working and responsibility base on assignment and working condition.
- Understanding company business and key success factory.
- Evaluate/appraisal the subordinates in the month of October the end of the year.
- The ability to set and meet deadlines to finish the assigned jobs.
- Communicating by verbal / written communication skills while collaborating with human beings, other management, employee-workers, vendors, contractors and other professionals on a daily basis.
- Take care, monitor and update the implementation of approval within SAP system properly.
- Budgeting, cost estimating, develop, analyze and derive the action plan including the timeline if the company have contractors for improvement of the project.
- Conduct the internal training course to improve the employee-workers.
- Communicate with HR and Admin. to set up annual internal and external training courses to improve the subordinates’ knowledges.
- Learn and develop people management skill.
- Ability to solve the happening problems within the workplaces.
- Check the daily report from subordinates.
- Arrang the meeting as needed.
- Prepare monthly report for director to have MOM as needed.
- Work as assigned by Department Director.

• Participate in draw up of company project plan and annual plan, prepare the stage construction schedule, material supply and financial plan.
• Organize the management work of bidding, prepare for study and tender documents.
• Responsible for reviewing design program of construction and delivery work.
• Responsible for reviewing construction program, engineering change, material substitution, etc. and control the engineering cost strictly.
• Responsible for organization work of technical negotiation, solve the technology and quality problem appeared in the construction and report to related leader to check.
• Organize the acceptance and delivery work of each project, supervise the engineering record and file data delivery.
• Responsible for training, guidance, management and assessment work of section staffs.
• Others jobs assigned by Department Manager.

- Coordinate, inspect, and monitor the required test and record inspection
- To ensure all the material using for the project are qualified to the standard ( design requirement )
- Make QC/QA monthly report.
- Monitor all quality related activity on the projects.
- Other work issued by project manager.

• Ability to design the Fiber Optical Network
• Ability to work outside the company for the site survey in and outside both Phnom Penh/Provinces, if required.
• On site survey at the customer site and prepare the survey report.
• Prepare the daily project update to the direct supervisor.
• Maintain the Fiber Network database and update to the system.

- Site survey the quantity, making BOQ, and any quantity calculation and costs for projects.
- Calculate the amount and cost of materials and labor needed for construction projects.
- Visit construction sites to monitor progress and check that the work is on the budget.
- Check on change of design to assess the effects on cost
- Responsible for coordinating between different stakeholders and/or sub-contractor in the negotiation and resolving issues relating to construction work including payment.
- Perform other tasks assigned by the direct supervisor.
