General Responsibilities:
Be responsible for the management of construction contractors performing work during
the execute phase of projects with the team of Obayashi Vietnam Corporation - Cambodia
Branch which is newly established in Phnom Penh.
Main duties as following;
- Oversee & supervise building works as requested to perform the best construction
quality, construction progress, labor safety for the project.
- Inspect the construction works executed by sub-contractors through construction
period before having carried out the next steps.
- Study drawing, make & work with detailed plan.
- Survey the completed work volume performed by sub-contractors.

Generally, M&E Chief Engineer is going to participate in a construction of new projects and
also involved to maintenance service for completed projects according to assignment.
Working in variety kind of M&E systems, such as medium voltage, low voltage, extra low
voltage, plumbing, fire protection, air conditioning….

Main duties as following;
In construction stage:
- Responsible for overseeing M&E works and coordinating subcontractors take part in
project, especial M&E subcontractor and ensure that health & safety & cleaning and
sustainability policies legislation are adhered to
- Check shop drawing to ensure that they are follow owner requirement and common
technical practice
- Conduct in site inspection and system commissioning ensuring that installation and
setting conform to design and standards
- Preparing site reports and filling in other paperwork
- In addition, M&E engineer will in charge to maintain temporary utilizes (water, power)
of the construction always in good condition
- Provide technical advice about plan, organize and supervise staffs and subcontractors
ensure that their task are completed on time and quality.
After handing over project:
- Basic troubleshooting to solve customers' problems as soon as possible
- Interacting with other teams and subcontractors to identify the cause of problem,
defect
- Supervise performance of subcontractor for the modification or renovation works
- Report problem, work result in appropriately way to relate parties
- Act as the primary liaison between company and owners
- Track and manage maintenance work record

- Coordinate with Subcontractor and Coordinate work between building/ME/Design
departments
- Work as leader, individual professional in construction work

- Manage overview structural design
- Deal with customer about structural design
- Check structural drawing and calculation sheet
- Check application document
- Handle renovation project
- Supervision of construction site

- Developing the basic design
- Making Technical drawing
- Checking fabrication drawing from manufacture
- Coordinating with site Engineer, sub-con for survey, emergency counter measure to deploy construction drawings and to make sure the construction works would be completed according to the

- Manage Schedule of Shop drawing issue for site.
- Manage issue related to Owner, legal check under JP Manager
- Coordinating with site Engineer, sub-con for survey, emergency counter measure to deploy construction drawings and to make sure the construction works would be completed according to the design drawings.
- Cooperate with HCM Team
