- Product Research and Development:

a. To understand the local construction methodology, trends, technologies, products and system through regular site surveys.
b. Propose the new products within the Group product range based on the construction methodology surveys.
c. To assist group technical team in HQ by providing local requirement, practices and specifications for the new product development.
d. To understand the local government authority’s requirements /process flow on new construction development.
e. To understand the local code of practice, standard regulations for the products and system.

• Perform all daily inspections to achieve the quality of construction required in the drawings and specifications for all works.
• Develop method statement and inspection checklist based on approved design and specifications of the project and to organize them so that the Quality inspections are done in timely manner not to delay works progress.
• Assist Manager/Supervisor, QAQC & HSE to determine all standards to perform inspection and tests on all procedures and oversee all testing methods and maintain high standards of quality for all construction processes.
• Assist Manager/Supervisor, QAQC & HSE in raising NCR when construction standards / requirements are not met on site.
• Take part in analysing nonconformities and proposing corrections, determining the causes of nonconformities, and corrective and preventive action.
• Work with CMLD Site Team, Contractors or Subcontractors to identify quality issues and propose corrective actions to avoid repeat of same defects.
• Prepare daily QA/QC report regarding inspections, materials, etc.

• Preparation of information for project planning; feasibility study, cost plan, design data, etc.

- Prepare architectural details as and when required for project execution.
- Work closely with MEP’s contractors on site to ensure that works are carried out following specific standards
- Address modifications desired by clients, submit a new request for a change, seek approval for redesign
- Ensure that the architect design is delivered by the contractor and deal with any design-related problems that arise during construction
- Liaise with the procurement department to ensure adhoc material supply to the site on a timely manner
- Counter-check materials quantities and quality throughout project and post project completion
- Control purchased materials usage and wastage, and optimize stock in terms of re-usage
- Regularly visit site to check on progress and ensure that the project will meet the schedule and budget
- Prepare and monitor closely construction schedules
