Job Description
1. Lead & Monitor site supervision and inspection of M&E works including any off-site manufacturing to ensure works are constructed to required quality and accuracy; all in compliance with the specifications and in accordance with the relevant Building Authorities’ regulations and guidelines.
2. Monitor progress of the works on site and at any off-site manufacturing facilities is in accordance with the approved construction programmed and report delays if any immediately.
3. Ensure proper and updated daily records of all works done, including records of tests, inspections, status of works, safety, site diary, materials and equipment on site, labor, day works, etc..
4. Verify reports and claims as well as maintain proper records of all work done
5. Design, Prepare & Monitor the drawings & specifications; check and assist ORKIDE in approval of shop drawings, catalogues and samples/materials; and highlight deviation, to ensure all M&E installation methods, materials to in compliance.
6. Escalate any issues to relevant parties immediately.
7. Check services routes and contractor's setting out and report any deviations.
8. Attend to contractor's queries and co-ordinate works of main contractor and his other builders’ and C&S’s trade direct contractors in resolving site installation problems
9. Ensure that the contractors maintain work cleanliness, tidiness of the site and workplace safety in compliance with Kingdom of Cambodia Labor Law & SKK guidelines and recommendation for construction safety and ORKIDE’s in‑house EHS rules and responsibilities.
10. Lead, Monitor & Inspect; witness all M&E systems tests carried out by the contractors and take over completed works.
11. Lead handing over of the installations to the ORKIDE’s Property & Estate Management / Facilities Management / maintenance team.
12. Perform other duties assigned by Office of ORKIDE, Project Team including supervision of M&E related works within the ORKIDE.
13. All the duties of a MEP Asst. Engineer as stipulated and required by ORKIDE.
14. The MEP Asst. Engineer is expected to know the building construction standards and its latest revisions, have a working knowledge of the relevant statutory requirements, and comply with all the requirements concerning supervision, quality control and other documentation.

Job Requirement
- Bachelor Degree in MEP Engineering or equivalent.
- Min 3-6 years’ experience in construction
- Experience in Building & Infrastructures Work (Power Supply, Water Supply, Telecommunication - Fiber Optic etc.)
- Proven track records of successful project completion on time and on budget or exceeding expectations will be well regards.
- Demonstrated leadership experience and skills to manage large or multiple construction projects
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
- Excellent prioritization & organizational skills;
- Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken; English, Khmer or other language.
- Able to communicate effectively with senior managers, staff and Customers.
- Self-motivated, proactive and a team player
- Conversant in statutory requirements for site supervision, quality control procedure, construction administration and preparation of progress reports.
