Job Description
To supervise IT support to users (Network, Printer, Scanner, Wi-Fi, Camera Security, LED TV, phones etc. To regularly backup all user data file
To ensure that Android tablets, laptops and computers are functioning and well-maintained
To manage Windows, Exchange, Mails and maintenance programs
To manage cloud server (putting policies & maintenance)
To track any occurrence of IT suspicious transactions and report to Senior Management team
To support IT requirements of some research projects of IRL clients
To maintain Internet connection; troubleshoot connection issues and be point of contact with Internet Service Provider
o To prepare documents for software design and changes, systems specifications and testing plans and liaise with systems users, management regarding systems’ changes and enhancements for future development
o To manage IT Budget and ensure adherence to annual IT financial objective
o To assist Data Management Group and Client Management Group on survey software issues (SPSS, Qualtrics, SurveyToGo)
o To create an IT Policy and ensure monitoring of compliance of all staff towards it
o To liaise with IT Teams in other IRL offices so that company-wide IT solutions are jointly developed and effectively supported for clients in the region
o To develop training programs and train IT staff regarding IT related topics to develop their skills
o Digital Management responsibilities
o To lead the digital transformation of IRL with regards to survey –planning, streamlining and executing the Digitalization Plans
o To manage current digital platforms ensuring that it is updated and usable by Client Management Group - IRLPanel and IRLBlast (SMS Survey), FB Survey
o To help streamline the online survey platforms of IRL for cost efficiencies and to have better success rate of survey completions
o To act as the admin of social media and chatapp accounts of IRL (FB, Twitter, Instagram, Telegram, Youtube)
o To be involved in future acquisition of digital platforms of IRL and provide guidance to Senior Management Team regarding business case scenarios
o Compliance with Administrative Guidelines and Procedures
o Maintain accurate project expense records to ensure compliance with Indochina Research financial administrative procedures
o Accurately prepare and complete necessary administrative documents within specified timeframes to ensure compliance and efficient management of internal administrative procedures
Job Requirement
• At least a bachelor degree in any of these fields – Information Technology, Computer Science or any related field
• Has experience in IT management for at least five (5) years
• Has sound skills in Windows platform, security set up and software installation. Has strong competency in handling servers
• Has strong knowledge of survey softwares such as SurveyToGo and Qualtrics
• Has excellent listening & communication abilities in both English and Khmer – spoken and written
• Has strong knowledge on online survey platforms, social media and chat apps
• Highly proficient in MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint or survey softwares such as SPSS, SurveyToGo, Qualtrics etc. Adaptable, flexible and highly committed
• A self-starter and can work with minimal supervision Pro-active and has strong critical thinking
