Job Description
• OBJECTIVE OF THIS ROLE
o Collaborate with product design, engineering and other stakeholders to develop an understanding of needs
o Research and devise innovative statistical models for data analytic
o Communicate findings to all stakeholders
o Enable smarter business processes and implement analytics for meaningful insights
o Keep current with technical and industry developments
o RESPONSIBILITIES/ DUTIES:
o Execute analytical experiments methodically to help solve various problems and make a true impact across various domains and industry
o Apply sophisticated modelling technique to predict customer behaviour such as likelihood to loan default, churn rate or fraud
o Identify relevant data sources and sets to mine for client business needs, and collect large structured and unstructured datasets and variables
o Devise and utilize algorithms and models to mine big data stores, perform data and error analysis to improve models, and clean and validate data for uniformity and accuracy
o Ensure the accuracy of the model and implement into production by collaborating with other stakeholders
o Lead in monitoring model performance and fine tuning when necessary
o Improve productivity and efficiency of analysis work through code review and other established
o Assist in performing ad-hoc data analysis as per request and produce it in a timely manner
o Communicate findings to executives and business department by translating analyses into business impact
Job Requirement
• EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:
o Bachelor degree in IT, statistics, applied mathematics or related discipline
o Experience working with big data
o Good knowledge of data mining, mathematics and statistical analysis including Python/R
o Advanced predictive modelling experience
o Knowledge of Machine Learning techniques, including decision tree learning, clustering, artificial neural networks, Experience in Tableau Desktop or Server is advantage
o Good knowledge of SQL programming skills
o Advanced PC skills, Word, Power point and Excel (graphs, chart, formulas )
o Experience in analytic skill preferably in credit related data, Passion for data and data science
o Excellent verbal and written communication skills
o Ability to multi-task and to work independently; drive for results, Honest and Hard Working
