Job Description
• Perform duties assigned by the Director of Engineering including but not limited to: setting and monitoring project scheduling and project budgets; supervise Civil/Structural project teams to ensure a high quality of production work; reviewing and checking of drawings and calculations, and ensuring that all appropriate authorizations/signatures/stamps are included on drawings before issuance.
• Responsible for the management of Civil/Structural team members, including the provision of technical advice and assistance, mentoring, training and performance management, as well as assisting in the recruitment and induction of new team members.
• Undertake structural calculations and analysis and produce safe, economic, efficient and buildable designs.
• Ensure that Company’s design and inspection procedures and professional standards/rules are implemented and being followed by all members of the Civil/Structural Engineering team, and provide suggestions to the Director on areas of improvement for quality procedures.
• Liaise with and provide engineering advice to the project architects, other engineering disciplines, sub-consultants, government and local authorities, and clients as required.
• Liaise with CAD Manager regarding drafter training for REVIT
• Produce structural design briefs, documents, reports and specifications.
• Review shop drawings and material submissions from contractors or sub-contractors.
• Liaise with contractors, undertake site inspection duties and assist to resolve construction phase related problems.
Job Requirement
• Be a licensed Structural Engineer, or possess at least equivalent Chartered or Registered Engineering accreditation and membership from a Professional Engineering Institution in another country.
• Previous experience working within an Engineering consulting environment, with a clear focus on design experience.
• Advanced time management and organizational skills with the ability to manage the time of others and to ensure efficiency of organizational processes.
• Advanced written and spoken communication skills including advanced negotiation and persuasion skills.
• Advanced knowledge of Structural Engineering Analysis & Design software packages (preferably ETABS, SAFE, RAPT, SPACEGASS, PLAXIS or SAP 2000) as well as CAD and general office software packages.
• Site inspection or supervision experience on building and/or infrastructure construction projects.
• Advanced knowledge of International Building Codes and Design Standards.
• Advanced leadership skills with the ability to manage teams with a strong results-orientation.
• Advanced written and spoken English skills are also required.
• Degree qualified in Structural or Civil Engineering.

Job Description
- Ensure that health and safety systems and procedures are implemented on site through regular inspections and audits.
- Preparing and issuing non-conformance or breach for approval of the Safety/Construction/Project Manager.
- Participate with the Safety Manager to coordinate with contractors to ensure that appropriate safety plans are in place and being adhered to.
- Undertake risk management and hazard reduction procedures to anticipate and prevent site safety problems.
- Investigate safety incidents, including the emergency procedure is followed, incident register is maintained and injuries are reported.
- Prepare the site monthly safety report for the review of the Safety Manager.
- Ensure awareness of site workers and contractors of safety standards, including but not limited to, running toolbox talks regarding to safety.
- Maintain HSE management system (ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
- Maintain the HSE report system (Intranet report).
- Support for tender process on HSE prequalify and evaluation.
Job Requirement
- Maintain an intermediate knowledge of safety regulations and compliance requirements.
- Intermediate skill in ensuring compliance including the confidence to strictly administer HSE systems and necessary.
- Intermediate attention to detail, particularly in respect to HSE requirements of Archetype Group and site contractors.
- Intermediate written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to write clear reports.
- Intermediate client and contractor management skills, including demonstrable negotiation skills and inter-personal skills.
- Intermediate working knowledge of software used in project management including: Autocade, Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Intermediate in written and spoken English is a pre-requisite.

Job Description
• Review and comment on drawing specifications and any other documents that may required for the project.
• Review and inspect the contractor capability in term of personel, equipment and other conditions with regard to the contract/bid conditions and legal requirements
• Where applicable provide suggestions or observations in respect to the element of the works.
• Carry out inspections based upon site specific requirements as directed by the line manager or QA/QC process.
• Assist with the development of the inspection process for the C&S/Finishing works at site.
• Record accurate inspections carried out in line with the site documents.
• Advise line manager and record where applicable any works not carried out in accordance with the drawings and specifications,
• Check the work done by the contractor.
• Assist with the H&S at site and advise line manager of any infringements.
• Assist where required in the development of the commissioning procedures that are required for the project.
• Review and comment in respect to As Built Drawings, and operations manuals.
• Provide support for the functional area of the project within which they are allocated, or for the project team as a whole, as required by the structure of the project team.
• Monitor and advise line manager of all of the works within their specific area of concern.
• Any other duties that may be assigned as part of the construction works.
