Job Description
- Understanding, quantifying, budgeting and managing the costs of the works involved in the Project (during the design and construction stages)
- Review construction plans and preparing quantity requirements
- Scrutinize maintenance and material costs, as well as contracts to ensure the best deals
- Review and approve the monthly statement applications (or other documents) issued by the subcontractors, and advise on the contractual claims
- Track any changes to the design or actual work and document any changes in design
- Liaise with project engineers, site managers, subcontractors, the Client and its Consultants (if needed)
- Prepare reports, analyses, risk assessment and other documents which may be required by the Project Director for the Client or other relevant stakeholders
- Manage his/her team and report to the Contract Manager and the Project Director
Job Requirement
- Experience over 5 years with QS
- Team Spirit and great communication skills with a good command over English and Chinese
- Deep understanding of the construction industry preferably between 5 to 10 years
- Strong and Analytical and Critical thinking skills
- Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills
