Job Description
Project Manager role is to oversee and manage the work crews involved in building steel structures according to the company’s guidelines. The role will also be responsible for planning and scheduling the project activities, resources, and equipment, and monitoring the project progress and performance. S/he will also communicate and coordinate with various internal and external parties, such as the sales, technical, financial, and marketing departments, the customers, and the subcontractors, to ensure smooth and effective execution of the project. Additionally, the role will also ensure compliance with all safety, quality, environmental, and legal standards, and regulations.
Job Requirement
• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in steel building erection or structural steel fabrication/erection.
• Knowledge of steel building design, fabrication, erection, and inspection standards and practices.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and contracts.
• Proficient in using computer software such as MS Office, MS Project, AutoCAD, etc.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Willingness to travel to various project sites as required.
• Good command of English, and a must Chinese speaker.
