Project Coordination
• Participate in all relevant project review meetings, site meetings, design meetings, and other project relevant meetings
• Coordinate with Project Manager, consultants, and subcontractors on all technical matters, including submission of method statement, drawings, materials, samples and work progress
Site Operations
• Work alongside other site managers in managing the delivery of MEP works and ensure that the works are carried out based on Coordinated shop drawings
• Supervise and manage the MEP team in the achievements of targets. Coordinate the preparation of as-built drawings
• Monitor and manage the delivery of materials and services. Ensure the QA/QC procedures are in place, Material Inspection Reports are duly signed off by the Engineer
• Coordinate the links between MEP Civil and other trades. Timely availability of material, method statement, workforce and supervision
• Implement Testing and Commissioning program as per the project schedule
• Ensuring quality of work satisfies project requirements and standards
Quality, Compliance and Safety
• Prepare Operation and Maintenance Manuals and Training sessions
• Implement quality control procedures, site safety and works carried out at site
• Report accidents that occur at site to Project Manager
• Carry out weekly site inspection and report progress, qualifications, protection, problems.
• Monitor sub-contractors and Direct Contractors off-site activities
Job Requirement
Qualifications and Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field and a minimum of five (05) years of relevant engineering relating to mechanical and electrical systems
• Technical expertise and understanding of all mechanical and electrical systems that support a Housing Project and how they interrelate with each other
• Experience in embedded MEP conduit works. Experience of MEP works in precast concrete sections would be an advantage
• Experience in infrastructure related MEP works, such as underground drainage, electrical trenches, transformers, etc
• Experience of handling a project from the initial stage
• Ability to manage and execute all the essential duties, good communication skills, organizational ability, and proficiency with computer applications such AutoCAD and MS Office
• Demonstrate personal attributes to manage a team of 15-20 workers
