Job Description
- Interact with the engineering team, procurement, quality, manufacturing, marketing and suppliers.
- Coordinate project activity with marketing, quality, suppliers, laboratories, manufacturing, codes and engineering functions
- Perform quantity surveys from construction documents and physical site inspections
- Analyze construction cost data and design drawings
- Promptly anticipates cost overages or other unsatisfactory cost elements and prepares cost exception report
- Primary responsibility will be to calculate part prices and tooling investments, both in new projects and support projects currently in progress
- Provide support during the change management process
Job Requirement
* Education for Cost Engineer
- Bachelor's and University Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, Finance, Surveying, Construction, Technical, Accounting, Manufacturing, Management
* Cost Engineer Qualifications
At least 5 years’ experience in construction and costing
