Job Description
• Prepare and arrange the pre-qualification form prior the
tender stage.
• Review tender documents such required relevant documents,
scope of works, project timeline, tender BOQ.
• Prepare the material list for sourcing with suppliers, local
and abroad etc.
• Select, filter and arrange the subcontractors who is reliable
and suitable for the project that is tendering.
• Prepare and undertake quantities takeoff with high accuracy
rate follow the drawings.
• Undertake feasibility studies based upon the Client’s
requirement.
• Undertake cost breakdown and cost analysis to prepare the
tender costing.
• Prepare tender documents for submission.
• Prepare purchasing quantities takeoff to assist Procurement
department.
• Track and record all Variation Order occurring during the
construction period.
• Prepare monthly interim payment claim
• Other tasks assigned by Senior QS or QS Manager.
Job Requirement
• Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in quantity surveying, construction
engineering, management, or related field.
• Min. 3 years with related works in Construction / Renovation
Industry.
• In-depth understanding of construction, materials, pricing,
and industry.
• Experience with running tender processes for project
management and/or architectural/engineering works.
• Experienced at compiling and following strict budgets; strong
estimating and financial analysis skills.
• Advanced knowledge of construction contracts, tendering
processes, quantities takeoff and bills of quantities.
• Strong aptitude for numbers, spreadsheets, and financial
reports.
• Strong Mathematical skills.
• Good in time management skills with the ability to self-
manage time efficiently and meet the deadlines.
• Proficient in computer skills and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent in using Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project.
• Fully understand how to read the complicated drawings.
• Ability and know how to do quantities takeoff for structural
works such as RC structure, post-tension structure, steel
structure etc.
• Ability and know how to do quantities takeoff for
architectural and interior design works such as carpentry and
joinery works, wall finishes, floor finishes, etc.
• Proficient in English
• Proficiency in Mandarin preferred
