• Perform all daily inspections to achieve the quality of construction required in the drawings and specifications for all works.
• Develop method statement and inspection checklist based on approved design and specifications of the project and to organize them so that the Quality inspections are done in timely manner not to delay works progress.
• Assist Manager/Supervisor, QAQC & HSE to determine all standards to perform inspection and tests on all procedures and oversee all testing methods and maintain high standards of quality for all construction processes.
• Assist Manager/Supervisor, QAQC & HSE in raising NCR when construction standards / requirements are not met on site.
• Take part in analysing nonconformities and proposing corrections, determining the causes of nonconformities, and corrective and preventive action.
• Work with CMLD Site Team, Contractors or Subcontractors to identify quality issues and propose corrective actions to avoid repeat of same defects.
• Prepare daily QA/QC report regarding inspections, materials, etc.
Other tasks assigned by Supervisor.
• Manages all the project quality documents, especially those relating to situations of nonconformity situations.
