Job Description
1. Scope of working:
HSE Engineer is responsible for ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, implementing HSE policies, and providing guidance to employees to minimize workplace hazards and maintain a safe working environment.
2. Duties & responsibilities:
- Implement HSE policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential safety and environmental hazards.
- Provide guidance and support to employees on safety-related matters.
- Conduct regular safety audits of sub-contractor activities.
- Carries out analysis of accident / incident statistics, identifying trends and suggesting improvement plans.
- Provides technical support and advice on any safety related subjects.
- Other tasks assigned by superior.
Job Requirement
3. Qualification & requirement:
- Bachelor's degree in Health and Safety, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 1 years’ experience in HSE, preferably in a related industry or environment.
- In-depth knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards.
- Strong understanding of risk assessment and hazard identification techniques.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in using HSE management systems, software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
