I. Roles and Responsibilities:
• Create the health, safety, and environment plans responding to the client’s contract requirements, HSE regulations of Cambodia to minimize the risk of accidents and impact to the environment.
• Maintain relevant HSE logs and documentation;
• Ensure the compliance of applicable laws and regulations;
• Prepare applicable HSE reports;
• Provide safety recommendation on HSE issues to make recommendations to facility management;
• Investigate accidents or incidents to find the root-causes and surface causes and prepare investigation reports and recommend preventive measures to avoid recurrence.
• Promote incident prevention for the benefit of employees and visitors;
• Organize/conduct safety training courses and seminars, and prepare training records.
• Observe and communicate with the site management any unsafe practices and unsafe conditions for the solution to mitigate the risk in the workplace.
• Ability to work with employees and relations with managers and employees, as well as our customers and regulatory agencies;
• HSE monitoring control to ensure that all HSE programs are implemented as well.
• Lead and train the safety officer/engineer to improve the knowledge and HSE leadership skill.
• Ensure that HSE programs are controlled as well and adhered to the HSE performance schedule.
• Motivate the safety officer/engineer in practices to work effectively.
• Perform other work-related tasks a required as assigned.
