Job Description
1. Supervising and overseeing the direction of the project (or a package), ensuring that the client’s specifications and requirements are met, reviewing progress and liaising with quantity surveyors to monitor costs.
2. Plan, develop and organize the construction effort to formulate the most cost-effective plan to timely completion within budget and to implement the execution of that plan
3. Coordinating and supervising construction workers, subcontractors and work activities
4. Preparing the site with other construction professionals such as architects, engineers and surveyors before the construction work starts;
5. Selecting tools and materials (Make a test of the tools before decided to buy it)
6. Making safety inspections and ensuring construction and site safety
7. Checking and preparing site reports
8. Assessing and minimizing risk
9. Finding ways to prevent problems and to solve any that crop up
10. Maintaining quality control procedures
11. Keeping staff motivated and focused
12. Another task assigns by project manager or project director.
Job Requirement
1. Bachelor Degree’s or Master Degree’s in Civil Engineering or other related fields
2. At least 5 years’ experiences in related filed
3. Exceptional ability to monitor construction project budgets and deadlines
4. Advanced negotiation skills to procure cost-effective subcontractors and suppliers
5. Experience in relaying detailed instructions to onsite construction teams
6. Knowledgeable of construction safety regulations
7. Good knowledge of building methods and regulations
8. Decision-making ability and team motivation
9. Good communication in English.
